MEET TRINATI
FOUNDER & CEO

At Mother in the Wild, Trinati is guided by a philosophy both simple and profound: that true growth and meaningful connection arise from curiosity, authenticity, empathy, connection, and stewardship. These guiding principles form the bedrock of her programs, which are crafted to nurture the hearts and minds of children and their families.

Her pedagogy, deeply rooted in nature, weaves together holistic learning, conscious communication, and a profound reverence for the environment. By fostering creativity, mindfulness, and compassion, Trinati empowers individuals to cultivate authentic connections with themselves, each other, and the world around them.

Trinati's Journey

With over 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher, forest school guide, and yoga instructor, Trinati has dedicated her life to guiding children, teens, and families on transformative learning adventures. Through her programs like Child in the Wild and Prana + Play, she brings the rhythms of nature, the flow of pranic energy, and the power of conscious communication into every experience, supporting families through the full circle of life—from birth to beyond.

Trinati’s approach is a harmonious blend of child-led and inquiry-based play, traditional ecological wisdom and the mindful practices of yogic breathwork. This unique combination helps deepen connections to nature, nurture personal growth, and create lasting bonds with the world around us.

As the host of the Storytime with Tula Jane and Her Mother in the Wild podcast, Trinati has created a platform where conversations about nature-based education, mindfulness, and family connection flourish. Inspired by a hobby-project to have with her daughter, Tula Jane, the podcast has captivated over 11 million listeners, offering storytelling that sparks imagination and deepens the bond between families and the natural world.

When she’s not facilitating transformative experiences in Montreal and California, or hosting her podcast, Trinati finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. She shares her days with her furbaby, Pijo, and two human children, exploring the delicate balance between the untamed beauty of nature and the warmth of home, ever seeking new ways to connect, grow, and live with intention.
